If you’re a runDisney fan, then you know that the hottest runDisney topic right now is the future of runDisney races in Disneyland. There’s plenty of rumors and speculation ranging from no races for two years to no more half marathons – only 5ks and 10ks, and worse … no more races in Disneyland at all.
That last rumor would be AWFUL, since runDisney races in Disneyland are amazing! So if there’s a chance that this is the last one, we’re even more motivated to make the absolute most out of the Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend. I’m talking fun costumes, lots of laughs, and taking our sweet time in race, getting tons of pictures and doing another another…

Before the Disneyland Half Marathon, our friend, Jennalyn … who, by the way, will be hosting a Joyful Miles Meet Up during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, more on that later … joined me to chat about all the wonderful non-character photo opportunities there are on the course. And wow, there’s a ton since Disneyland race courses offer tons of park time, especially the 5k and 10k.
Getting every single photo during the 5k was a total blast plus we added a couple more! We did get some during the 10k but none during the half marathon, since it was a thousand degrees that day. So now, my group of gals are excited about taking on this challenge once more.
Because if these are the last races in Disneyland, we’re going out with a bang.
