Jackey and I had an AMAZING time this past weekend running all three races during the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend! Yep, it was broiling hot, but runDisney did a fantastic job keeping everyone safe and aware. We also made good choices and did our best to prepare for the heat so ain’t nothin’ gonna break-a our strides, nobody gonna slow us down, oh on, we got to keep on moving …
I totally hope the Matthew Wilder was playing in your head during that last sentence. ‘Cause that’s what I was going for.
Besides unbreakable strides, Jackey and I did something else for the first time … we filmed our very first LIVE YouTube show after the half marathon! We made a few mistakes … like squinting oddly at the screen to read comments and why, oh, why didn’t I throw a tripod in my gEar bag? But it ended up being a lot of fun and a tradition we hope to continue during the Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend.
Yes. Jackey and I are now registered for Super Heroes. Which is a story for a different day.
