Talk about a lovely email! This morning, Megan, Jackey, and I found our group made it into the 2017 Credit Union Cherry Blossom 10-Miler, woo-HOO! I’ve wanted to do this race for a long time since I don’t live far from Washington and it’s such a gorgeous place to visit, especially when the cherry blossoms are blooming.
Whether or not I’ll be able to run by then, however, is still questionable. They do offer bib transfers between February 1st and 28th, but you know what? I’m not going to need it. I shall remain positive about my recovery, which is why I entered the lottery!
Now we need to book a hotel. Like, TODAY.
