World Refugee Day 5k

Disclaimer: I’m taking part in the World Refugee Day 5k as part of being a BibRave Pro in conjunction with our good friends at Soul Focus. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!

June 20th is World Refugee Day. It is also the 3rd annual Refugee Day 5k in Uganda. This race has given the opportunities for refugees, supporters of the American Refugee Committee and professional athletes to come together to share the joy of running.

I will not be traveling to Uganda however I am so excited to be a part of the World Refugee Day Virtual 5k which helps support refugees through the American Refugee Committee.

The registration for this race is open until Thursday June 20th and with using the code BR5 you can save $5 off your registration.  You also will get some swag with your entry fee. You can print your personalized race bib, and andout this amazing BOCO gear hat!

There’s still a couple days left to register! For more information, use this link and be sure to let me know if you sign up!

About the author: Jackey is a 39 (omg almost 40) year old mom of three boys from Buffalo, NY. She loves anything 80’s and believes she was born ten years later than her soul. She love to sing, dance and make music videos and she’s a huge Buffalo Bills fan! After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, Jackey has recently re-entered the work force as a customer service agent for Southwest Airlines, which is perfect for her love of traveling (free flights) and traveling to run races.
