Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope you’re having an AMAZING summer and that you’re enjoying every single sunny day! Ours has been wonderful so far … and August is going to be FANTASTIC!! More on that later. For now, here are some announcements and chit-chats. 🙂
OOFOS Project Pink!
Not only have I been a HUGE fan of OOFOS sandals for a long time … they still top my list of best recovery shoe EVER … but I’m also grateful to OOFOS for thinking of Joyful Miles! Jackey has already blogged about her love for OOFOS in March and recently, we received gorgeous sandals to promote Project Pink!
For every pair sold on OOFOS.com, OOFOS donates 3% directly towards the Dana-Farber Breast Cancer Research team to support new medical breakthroughs!
After watching this amazing video about Duncan Finigan, Head of Brand at OOFOS, I was crying and ready to share the word about Project Pink to others. So it was such a delight to find these beautiful OOAHH Sport Project Pink Sandals in my mailbox! (Jackey will soon be blogging about hers!)
In the past, I’ve always ordered OOFOS OOlala Lux sandals. I love how the shiny straps make them a bit dressier while also being a fantastic recovery shoe. (Yes, I do consider flip-flops to be dressy, LOL.) And I didn’t think there’d be much of a difference between the OOlala and OOahh sport sandals.
Turns out, I was wrong!
While the OOlala’s are also amazing, fantastic, wonderful, and perfect, OOahh’s wider straps that curve around the top of my foot offers a bit more support … maybe because they’re less flip to the flop. And of course, there’s pink on them. You all know how I feel about pink!!
So thank you, OOFOS, and thank you for Project Pink and your efforts to help find a cure to breast cancer!

Want to watch some AMAZING video recaps from last year? Then head on over to our dear friend, Gerald Resnick’s RezRun YouTube channel!
So you might be wondering why I’m cramming in so many announcements in one post. I’ve already shared how Jackey and I are taking a podcast break until September. But I’m also personally taking a Joyful Miles blogging and social media break for the month of August in order to refuel the tanks, spend time with family, and connect with my creative spirit!
We’re also going to be taking a HUGE family week-long cruise in August that is already shaping up to be quite legendary, as proved by the group shirts we’re wearing on the first day!
Until then, you can follow along with my #daysofsummerjoy shenanigans on my personal Instagram and Twitter accounts (regular and author,) or read my sporadic blog posts over at Write, Run, Rejoice! (Lawd, that blog needs some love. 😉 )
See you in September and I hope you have the most amazing, wonderful, fantastic summer!
